This 3-day event brings together policy makers, scientists, civil society organisations, indigenous groups, donors, practitioners and the youth to (i) reflect on policy and progress taken by the Congolese Government before and after COP27 in response to climate change and deforestation; (ii) discuss on how science can support evidence-based decision-making process and (iii) promote information exchange and knowledge sharing amongst stakeholders in addressing climate change and deforestation successfully.
